Abstract: At 12:15 a.m. on August 27, 2018, Employee #1 was working in the laboratory. The housekeeping staff was in the hallway outside of the laboratory, stripping the floor using a chemical called Maxx Floor Stripper. The employee, who has a pre-existing asthma condition, went into an asthma attack, caused by the chemical vapors generated by the floor stripper. Employee #1 was hospitalized for treatment.
