Abstract: At 12:40 p.m. on September 24, 2018, Employee #1, employed by an electrical services company, was engaged in electrical repair work at a multiemployer construction site, an existing one-story commercial building. He was removing damaged wires from conduit at the bottom of the energized service panel when wire(s) contacted the busbar. In the ensuing electric arc flash, Employee #1 was burned. He was transported to the hospital, admitted, and treated for burns to both hands and arms and burns to his face.
