Abstract: At 10:40 a.m. on February 1, 2018, Employee #1 and a coworker, employed by a construction company, were working at a construction job site. The coworker was operating a forklift that held an I-beam. Employee #1 was serving as the coworker's spotter. The I-beam fell and landed on Employee #1's legs, crushing both legs. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, where he was admitted and treated for the crushing injuries.
